Andrea, you are such a kind, compassionate vet, and I thank you for everything you did when the time came for my beautiful cat Tibbs to be relieved of her pain. I'm so grateful to you for helping her pass painlessly, in the comfort and peace of her own home. The gentle, tender way you treated Tibbs made me feel as though she was as precious to you as she was to me. Your empathy provided much needed comfort to us both at that terrible time. Jack and Jenny were brother and sister and we would have had them for 14 years on 14th Feb 2015 so they were both just short of 14 years old. We all loved them dearly and all we wanted was to ensure that they had a serene stress free departure from this world, when their time came. It is incredibly hard to say goodbye to your devoted and loved pets. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better - in you we found someone who I would term an ‘animal whisperer’, someone who is genuinely one with animals who also happens to be a vet. When Jack left us on Sunday 5th October 2014, you came to our home and were so kind and caring to Jack - making his journey to the spirit world a quiet and peaceful transition. Seeing this, helped us all to say our last goodbyes to Jack. Although after this his sister Janny was also grieving the loss of Jack, her loving nature was also whelping us with the grieving process. Although Jenny had trouble with arthritis in her back hips I personally believed she would make it through to her 14th birthday but sadly that was not to be. It absolutely broke our hearts to lose her on 15 December 2014 while we were away, with all amount of guilt and letting her down at her hour of need, weighing heavy on us. To be honest with you, the fact that you were there for her, with us knowing how genuinely wonderful and caring you are towards animals, was our only saving grace. It gave us great comfort to know that she would be making her journey to the spirit world with a quiet and peaceful transition, through your kind and caring assistance. This was confirmed to us by my sister and nephew who were looking after Jenny. All of this helped us at a time when we were so sad to be so far away from Jenny. We only wanted what was best for Jenny and certainly did not want her to suffer. Andrea is the kind of vet we have been looking for for our beloved animals. We recently lost our beautiful fur boy Seth through cancer. She helped make his last couple of months the best they could possibly be, by keeping him pain free. When it was time for him to go to heaven, she came and helped him on his journey at our house so he could be comfortable and at peace. We can't thank her enough for her care and compassion she showed our beloved boy and especially me. The tearful phone calls she received from me were never a problem and she was always able to put my mind at rest. We now have a new puppy Ned and our Goldie Charlie who is enjoying his senior years. We wouldn't trust anyone else to look after our animals because you won't find anyone else who adores them as much as she does.
